Josh Brolin has only gone and got engaged to long-term girlfriend Kathryn Boyd.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard an engagement story from the Labor Day actor, as this will be his third (count ‘em) trip down the aisle.
A representative for the star has confirmed that he asked Kathryn to marry him two whole months ago! How did they keep THAT a secret?
The pair celebrated the happy occasion a month later in Cabo san Lucas with a group of their friends, our invite to which probably got lost in the post.
An eyewitness said the loved-up pair were "all over each other", with Boyd apparently "sitting on his lap" throughout the dinner. Cute! Unless he was eating soup, in which case: MESSY.
The union hasn’t been free from controversy – they only began dating a month after Brolin filed for divorce from his second wife in March 2013, which may explain why they didn’t flaunt their romance until February 2014, on a romantic trip to Rome.
Oh - and Katherine was actually his assistant for two years before she became his girlfriend.
Despite all this, here at heat we’re hoping that third time’s the charm, and this may just prove true for the No Country For Old Men star: his father Josh Brolin found lasting love with his third marriage, to the one and only Barbara Streisand.
