Jude Law announces he’s expecting his fifth child with ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding

Jude Law has announced that he’s expecting his fifth child with ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding, who also goes by the name Cat Cavelli.

Pretty surprising stuff, eh?

Yesterday, a rep for the 41-year-old actor revealed that he’s going to be a dad again, and although Jude and the 23-year-old singer/songwriter are no longer in a relationship, they are dead excited about the upcoming arrival.

“Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child,” the rep stated.

“I ask that you respect the privacy of all parties involved and their families.”

The couple enjoyed a romance earlier this year, spending six weeks together while Jude was on location in the Czech Republic where he was filming.

Although Catherine is yet to tweet anything about her pregnancy, her close friend, model Laura Coleman tweeted a link to Jude's announcement, writing: “Congratulations to my best friend @CatCavelli on expecting her new baby. Can't wait xx.”

A source close to Cat told the Mirror: “It all happened very quickly. They met a little while ago and fell for one another, then Cat told friends that she was going out to Prague, that's when it emerged that she was in a relationship with Jude.

“Sadly they are no longer a couple but that they are both so determined that the baby will be loved very much by both his or her parents.

“It is easy to see why Jude fell for Cat, she is beautiful, she is the person who when she walks in a room you just think "wow, look at her."'

Jude already has four children from two previous relationships: Rafferty, 18, Rudy, 12, and Iris Law, 13, with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost, as well as five-year-old Sophia Law, with Samantha Burke.
