When it comes to weird af celebrity friendships, we've heard our fair share. Whether it's Kim Kardashian and Avril Lavigne, Meryl Streep and 50 Cent or Kanye West and Mary-Kate Olsen, some of 'em never fail to surprise us. And the latest coupling that's left us nothing short of shook?

Judge Rinder and Harry Styles.

Yep, the pair once bumped into each other at the gym and we just had to find out how the friendship with the former One Direction fella's progressed since.

Chatting exclusively to heat (brand new issue OUT NOW, btw), Judge Rinder explained: "I go to a gym, and I’m not going to say where, but it’s the type of place where nobody would take a selfie.

"Harry came in to a class, as he often does, and he was a tiny bit late. Somebody had taken his spot so he waited for the next class, and I saw him through the glass politely helping the staff carry towels. I started speaking to him afterwards and I don’t know what happened but I told him I thought he was so well brought up and that I would have children if they turned into him. Then I said, 'But they wouldn’t turn into you, they’d be on crack. You must have such a wonderful mum.'

"Rather than being normal, I then suggested that I marry her. I was cringing so much but I didn’t seem to be able to stop myself."

And then?

"I ended up messaging his mum and inviting her to the show and she is a complete and utter delight," he said. "We got on well and we went out for dinner in London with some friends.

"I’m not declaring I’m going on The Great British Bake Off or anything but I’ve always wanted to bake, and she has promised me that her and her friend are going to teach me. I'm going to learn to make cakes with Harry Styles' mum."

Can we third wheel, or...?
