Justin Bieber has found himself at the centre of a vicious rant by DJ DeadMau5 who slammed the singer for the apparent amount he contributed to his own album.
The Canadian DJ branded Justin a “meat puppet” and ranted at the Baby singer online before completely deleting his social media pages.
The musician appeared to target Justin for the amount of work he put into the album, despite admitting the content is of a reasonable quality.
In a Facebook video, he said: “I can accept that his album is probably good. What I’m mad about is that none of this is his.
“What did you do? Oh, you sang on it. Well, you know, I can credit you for having to be able to hold a pitch on two syllables throughout an entire 75-minute album.”
It seems the DJ may have been under fire from Justin’s fans as he soon removed both his Twitter and Facebook pages.
In a final tweet, he wrote: “Fk ‘social media’. The only thing it’s useful for is promoting, advertising and more advertising.
“As far as being a human being on social media, forget about it. You’re just another number we can all add into our little follower count, that ultimately adds up to NOTHING I require to make music.”
Ouch!
