Justin Bieber has come to the defence of Kylie Jenner, after Hunger Games actress, Amandla Stenberg, criticised Kylie for posing in cornrows on her Instagram account.

Amandla, 16, laid into Kylie for "appropriating black features and culture", but not drawing to her wigs, rather than "police brutality or racism".

We'd be surprised that if anyone is going to make progress toward quashing police brutality or racism, it'd be 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. All she talks about it hair and lips.

Justin Bieber seems to agree with us, sort of, as he leapt into the comments of Instagram to defend Kylie: "Guys leave her alone, were all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope! I'm the first to know this.

"But saying she's being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous. lets focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid lets do something about equality, but it doesn't start here blasting a 17 year old kid for wearing braids smh."

And here's the pic that sparked the row

It's thought that Kylie's only response to the comments by Amandla was: "Mad if I do...mad if I don't. Go hang w Jaden or something."

Amandla has since followed up her initial posts with an article she wrote about double-standards when it comes to the beauty of black and white women.
