So, yesterday Justin Bieber cancelled his MASSIVE Purpose tour due to "unforeseen circumstances", and Beliebers everywhere were seriously devo.

He'd been travelling the world for a grand total of 18 months, performed a whopping154 shows and only had 14 shows left. 14!!!!

But for some reason or another, Biebs decided he just couldn't do it any more, and left a super ambiguous message for his fans.

His representative said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them.

"He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months."

Hmmm. BUT WHAT COULD BE THE REASON?!

Of course, people were quick to speculate… and one of the rumours that was flying around was that JB was finishing the Prupose tour early to start a church.

Yup, a church. Who would have thought it?!

The rumour started after entertainment guru, Richard Wilkins told Australian radio channel, Channel Nine: "'I am led to believe that the real reason he has come off the road is because he wants to reconnect with his faith and he may be even planning to start his own church."

Because, ya know, that sounds like a totally reliable statement from one of Justin's besties, doesn't it?!

And it hasn't taken Justin long to put the story to rest.

When asked by TMZ if he quit the tour for religious reasons, he replied, "no. you already know why."

Uhhh. Wer'e not sure we do know why, Justin? Although thanks for clearing that theory up.
