The last few months have seen Justin Bieber move away from his teeny bopper, squeaky-voiced past and swiftly win over the hearts and radios of, well, pretty much EVERYONE - so it's no surprise that Biebs has officially topped the poll to be voted the most influential pop star of the last year.

It actually became cool to be a Belieberin 2015 and Justin has beaten a whole host of sing stars to top The Pop Power List – making him the first male singer to take the slot. Hurrah!

The list takes every aspect of the celebs' lives into account, measuring their recording revenues, social media reach, wealth, chart placings and press coverage and use it to create a clever, scientific alogrithm which places each star in their position.

The Canadian chart topper beat off heavyweights including Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Adele to take the crown after moving up a whopping 36 places from the previous year. Nice work, JB!

The Pop Power List is celebrating its fifth year and this year has seen new entries including James Bay and Zayn Malik making it into the top twenty. Adele was just pipped to the post by Justin and made it in to second place, closely followed by One Direction and Rihanna.

Given the fact that we are forever humming What Do You Mean, we totally think that Justin is a worthy winner of the title. Major swoon! And we are sure if his career carries on like it has been, he might be hanging on to that top spot for a few more years to come…
