The internet got very excited about this one - Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez — aka Jelena — just dropped a surprise break-up track, because that is what you do when you're young, rich and heartbroken.

Surprising fans, who quite frankly lost their sh*t when they dropped the hit on Drake's OVO Sound Radio on Saturday, they named the song Strong and apparently it's to help them get over their split. Which makes complete sense.

At the start of the duet Selena sings: "There’s no sophistication in my lack of patience. I’m just wishing you were better at communication.

"As I sit here steady waiting, wishing that you would call my name."

Later on Biebz sings: "You're the only one I'm really missing. Nobody else would be forgiving, cause of all the love that you give me."

And his ex-flame responds: "Wishing I was better at this damn thing, cause it's just been too long and I can't change."

But don't worry, they're taking this track slow - they didn't record it together. Phew

"[Selena and Justin] didn’t record this together; they laid their tracks separately but were both very involved with the song’s creation and writing," a source told* HollywoodLife*.

"They weren’t the main writers, but they will be credited as writers among others.

"This has been planned for months and they have been working on it at the same time they were working on their own albums."

The source added: "They are still very tight and [Justin] felt that it would be very therapeutic if they worked together.

"Their past could lead into some amazing future business decisions because they both know how each other tick."
