Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey put on a united front during a low-key date night in New York last week, after the couple were dogged by split rumours. Going all out to rubbish claims their six-year marriage is on shaky ground, the singer, 30, and his model wife, 28 – who became parents to son Jack in August – were pictured attending the New York Knicks and LA Lakers game in the Big Apple.
Their display of unity came amid outpourings of concern about Canadian superstar Justin, after he was papped on several solo outings in the American city looking ‘gaunt’ and ‘hollow-eyed’. One worried fan wrote, ‘He’s been through a lot, hope he’s getting the support he needs.’
In December, speculation grew that Justin and Hailey had called time on their marriage when the first-time dad wrote, ‘Co-parenting is failing… like tf.’ The rumour mill went into overdrive when Justin – who’s been open about his struggles with drink, drugs and his mental health – unfollowed Hailey on Instagram last month, before re-following her and suggesting his account was hacked. ‘Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss,’ he wrote.
Meanwhile, sources have since suggested things are incredibly rocky, with one alleging, ‘Some of Hailey’s friends have advised her to leave Justin. His behaviour is sometimes unacceptable. She’s put up with a lot.’ Another said, ‘Hailey’s been struggling with Justin almost since the start of the marriage. She loves him madly, but he’s a loose cannon.’
