There are very few celebrities who could pull off making an entire movie about their life. I mean, come on, narcissistic much?
But a flick about the life and times of Kanye West is DEFINITELY something we’d be very into.
We’d even go to the cinema to see it, rather than waiting for it to drop on the internet. And tbh, that says a lot.
According to an insider, the rap megastar is talking to close pal and all-round hilarious chap Will Ferrell about creating the epic film, which would be a tongue-in-cheek look at his life so far.
"He has been thinking about this this for a long, long time and he has been trading ideas with Will,” a source told the Daily Star.
"Rather than take himself to seriously, he feels it has to be a comedy and not a preachy film."
AMEN.
We suppose the biggest unanswered question right now is who would play the roles of Kanye, his wife Kim Kardashian West, plus their adorable tots North and Saint?
Well according to The Mirror, Kayne once said Will himself would be the perfect person to play himself if his life story ever made it onto the big screen.
"He is one of my personal gods,” Kayne said of Will. “I would like Will Ferrell to play me in The Kanye West Story. Can you make that happen?"
Well, we can’t, Kanye, but you probably can!
Yeezy is also said to want director of The Big Short Adam McKay to help with the project, as he’s worked with Will before.
There are SO MANY epic Kimye moments that we’d love to see recreated in a film. Because, let’s face it, their life together is pretty monumental, right?
