They’re no stranger to courting controversy with their explicit and risqué public displays, but Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s ‘nude’ stunt at the Grammy Awards has turned out to be their most shocking yet. The couple stepped in front of photographers on the red carpet – the Gold Digger rapper in a black T-shirt and trousers and Bianca in a black floor-length fur coat – before she stripped down to a sheer mesh dress, baring her underwear-less body. Bianca’s stark-naked look shocked the world, with fans sharing their fears over the pair’s relationship.
'Someone needs to save Bianca Censori from Kanye…' one online commenter said, with another adding, “It’s no longer about the clothes – it’s about Bianca’s well-being. How much longer can she be paraded around like this before someone realises it’s just too much? Someone needs to step up and save her from Kanye’s chaos!”
A third posted, 'Today’s Grammy was beyond bad. You have stooped so low,' as a fourth commenter called him a 'sick man with no respect for women'.
According to body language expert Nicola Hickling, the couple exchanged some terse words, before Bianca bared nearly all at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Kanye appeared to have told her, ‘You’re making a scene now,’ as the Australian model nodded her head. ‘Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense. Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you,’ he added. Bianca nodded and responded, ‘Alright, let’s go’, before she dropped her coat and flashed her assets.
Kanye and Bianca left the Grammys soon after making their statement, amid rumours that they had been asked to leave, although another source claimed they left on their own accord.
Since marrying Kanye in December 2022, Bianca has stepped out in increasingly racy outfits, often forgoing clothes entirely – all under the watchful eye of her husband, who apparently loves using the 29 year old to push the envelope, and duly asserting his control over her and others around him.
But in recent months – as rumours have spread that the couple’s two-year marriage is on the rocks – we’re told Kanye’s need for dominance has become all the more extreme. Having splashed out on a $15.5m Beverly Hills mansion in a “last-ditch attempt” to save his relationship and give Bianca the 'stability' she’s reportedly been craving, we’re told Kanye’s been scratching his itch for supremacy the only way he knows how: by laying down the law when it comes to Bianca’s self-presentation. According to insiders, the rapper is hellbent on using his wife to show the world just how powerful he is, and that means dressing her (or undressing her) in even more X-rated ensembles. As far as he’s concerned, we’re told she’s the art-piece, and he’s the ultimate creator.
'Kanye is always going on about how great minds will understand that nudity is the ultimate power,' says an insider close to the 47 year old, who – since splitting from Kim Kardashian in 2021 and marrying Bianca the following year – has seemingly taken his alleged narcissism and so-called god complex to new extremes. 'It’s safe to say he uses it as a power trip because he loves provoking a reaction, and nudity makes more people pretty uncomfortable. That’s for sure a factor in why he’s always getting Bianca to parade around in public with no clothes on – he enjoys seeing how freaked out everyone gets. It’s also a way for him to show off, because he sees her as an extension of him, and gets off on the idea of people lusting after her because it feeds his ego.

It’s no secret that Kanye has a habit of stripping his wives and girlfriends of their own style and tastes and moulding them in the image he envisions. While married to Kim, with whom he shares four children, he famously threw out her clothes, before dressing her in envelope-pushing, barely-there ensembles. It was only later in their marriage, when he then chastised her for dressing too sexily, that his need for control became evident, with Kim complaining on an episode of her family’s eponymous TV series that Kanye had 'built me up to be this sexy person' – before railing against her for her sexy image.
He then displayed the same kind of game-play with his next girlfriend, Julia Fox, who – during their short-lived relationship – stepped out in a series of X-rated outfits that screamed Kanye’s doing. She later said about their time together, 'I realised pretty quickly I was being used as a pawn.'
As for Bianca, it seems she’s received the lion-share of Kanye’s domination, seemingly doing and dressing exactly what and how she’s told for two years and counting. On the plus side, the fact that Kanye’s taken her need for stability on board and invested in this new Beverly Hills mansion (reportedly taking out massive loans to do so) in a bid to save their marriage, is a sign that he’s listening to her needs and giving her just a little bit more power along the way. But, with that being said, we’re told he’s not prepared to compromise his dominance – or what he perceives to be his artistic genius. So, he’s not letting up when it comes to parading her in public.

But it’s not just his wife that Kanye enjoys seeing naked: he’s said to enjoy stripping down too. Apparently, the rapper, who was snapped exposing his bare bottom while on a boat with Bianca (who had her head nestled in his lap) in Venice in 2023, has developed his own naked habits in private, ditching all his clothes as soon as the cameras are off – all in the name of art.
'People assume that it’s just Bianca who walks around without any clothes on, but Kanye is really embracing his own fetish for being naked,' says our source. 'He has this huge exhibitionist side. It’s actually a shock to a lot of people in his world that he covers up so much when he’s out in public because, the rest of the time, he hardly wears clothes. Kanye’s always talking about how being naked makes him feel more in tune with his emotions and his art. He thinks it’s opening up a whole new side of him creatively, but even for him this is out there. Instead of just admitting it’s a kink, he has to elevate it to another level.'
