With the long, long ponytail, French manicures and pink nail polish, we’re starting to get used to Bruce Jenner’s changing appearance.
But, understandably, each of his loved ones has to deal with it in their own way - stepdaughter Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend Scott Disick reportedly “didn’t react very well” at first but “is now on board” while Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West is embracing the news.
Speaking about the rapper, an insider told PEOPLE: “He is totally fine with it. He believes in live and let live, and he took it all in his stride.
“He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance – complete acceptance.”
The whole of the Kardashian/Jenner family is said to have come around quickly but were surprised after the initial announcement.
The source said: “Bruce told them everything – where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect.
“Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly.
“They all came around pretty quickly, but each of them had to process it in their own way. All they want is for him to be happy.”
Kim is said to have gone straight to her mum Kris Jenner to support her as it is claimed the news hit her hardest.
The source said: “Kris had the most difficult time of anyone in the family. She has had a lot to process. She has cried a lot about this, because it’s an emotional thing for her.”
They added: “No one in the family feels betrayed or deceived by Bruce. It’s not like he woke up one day and was like, ‘Surprise!’
“He moved through his own feelings and his own changes at his own pace.”
