Imagine a world where Kanye West is running America, Kim Kardashian is First Lady, and their kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm are running wild in the White House... Well that might actually become real life as the rapper has announced he will run to become the next President of the United States in 2020.
Yes, you aren't in a mad dream, Kanye tweeted out to his 29.5 million followers over the weekend that he's ready to take over from Donald Trump.
He wrote, 'We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States'. (sic)

And it appears he has the support of some pretty well-known people in the States. As well as his wife, billionaire Kim retweeting the message, CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk also revealed he will be behind Ye's campaign, writing, 'You have my full support!'.
Of course this hasn't really come out of the blue, back in 2015 Kanye spoke about the potential of becoming President at the MTV Video Music Awards.

He said at the time, “It’s about ideas, people who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”
Whilst Donald Trump will represent the Republican Party, former Vice President Joe Biden will represent the Democratic Party, and it's expected that Kanye will run as an independent.
The 2020 United States Presidential election is due to take place on Tuesday 3rd November, so we will have to wait and see if Kanye fulfills his big dream.
