WHAT. A. YEAR.
First Brexit happened, then our dear Prince Harry got himself a girlfriend. BUT now Kanye West has revealed that he didn’t vote in the US election, and that if he had, he would have voted for Donald Trump.
Yes really. TRUMP!
We can’t believe it either, but not as much as viewers couldn’t believe that theLorraine show was cancelled because of the live election.
Kanye kicked off the second part to his Saint Pablo tour and decided to have a massive rant at one of his shows in San Jose. Apparently there wasn’t just one rant either. There were a FEW.
Would it have been a Kanye concert if there wasn’t some sort of controversy?
We think NOT.
He said “I told y’all I didn’t vote right?”
“What I didn’t tell you…if I were to have voted I would have voted on Trump.”
His political outburst welcomed some cheers, but mostly boo’s from the crowd.
He then went on to call Trump a "F*king genius." YES REALLY.
It did not STOP there.
In true Kanye style he approached the issue of racism right in the middle of his show.
He said: "Specially to black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist OK…It’s just a f*king fact. We are a racist country."
Fans of Kanye took to Twitter running a live commentary with one fan tweeting that someone threw something at him and he threatened to cancel his show.
Just what you paid for. Kanye ranting about politics and racism. We can’t wait until the next show.
A LOT of other celebs have had very big opinions about the new President including Amy Schumer who had a rant on Instagram.
We were up for Kayne moving into the Whitehouse in 2020 but we may have a rethink now.
