Kanye West never likes to do things in an understated fashion - and he certainly showed that to be true with Kim Kardashian in Los Angeles this weekend, where they celebrated Mother’s Day.
Many mums would be happy with a box of chocolates or some flowers but Kanye made sure their children North and Saint spoiled their parent by getting her a 10-piece orchestra to play in their home.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was woken from her sleep by the ensemble’s music, who were playing in the living room of her Californian home.
Kim wrote on Snapchat: “Mother’s Day surprise in my living room!”
In a short clip, a number of string players can be seen playing music as Kim and daughter North watched from a balcony that overlooks the room.
The musicians played film Frozen’s Let It Go and Tomorrow from Annie.
Paying tribute to the females in her family on US Mother’s day, which is on a different date from the UK, Kim said they’re among the best women she knows.
She wrote: “As a daughter, granddaughter, sister and mother of two myself, I consider all the moms in my life to be the strongest women I know.
“It’s so important to remember the women who brought us into the world and everything they do for us.
“Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!!”
