In today's 'cringe so hard you fall backwards off your chair' news, Kanye West recently stopped his entire show to scream 'stand up and dance!' at two people. One was in a wheelchair and the other had prosthetic limbs.
This comes after he got into a bit of trouble, understandably, for yelling at Sydney fans to stand up 'unless y'all sitting down because y'all handicapped'. Then, on Friday, it turned out that two of his fans had a disability, which didn't stop the rapper demanding they stand up. When they physically couldn't. Oh Kanye, c'mon man.
'I can't do this song, I can't do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t,' he yelled. Then a fan waved a prosthetic limb at him, and he was forced to start the song after replying: 'Okay, you fine!'
Then, when another fan remained seated, he stopped 'The Good Life' and complained: 'This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song, it's unbelievable,' before getting his bodyguard to doublecheck that the fan was, in fact, in a wheelchair. Way to make them feel comfortable, Kanye. Once it was confirmed, he said: 'He is in a wheelchair? It's fine!' and continued the song.
Probably don't make such a big deal out of it mate, they've paid to see you. They haven't paid to stop the show because they're in a wheelchair/wearing prosthetic limbs.
