What have you done today to make you feel proud? Helped an old man cross the road? Delivered a newborn child on the bus? Just managed to get yourself out of bed in one piece? Well Kanye West knows someone who’s done ALL THAT AND MORE, so basically you have to shut up about your own achievements forever more.
Yep, Yeezy decided to reprise his 2009 Taylor Swift ambush at last night’s Grammy Awards, when he climbed on stage after American artist Beck took the award for Best Album and beat Beyonce in the process.

He stormed the stage during Beck’s acceptance speech, then seemed to think better of it and turned to go – but not before Beck noticed what he was doing and, pretty good-naturedly in our opinion, beckoned for him to come back on.
While Kanye didn’t actually interrupt proceedings too much, he still had a good old rant backstage (or Beckstage, as we’re renaming it, just to piss him off that bit more) about the award results.
Speaking to sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian, who was reporting for E!, Kanye railed against the system.
“We ain't gonna play with them no more. Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé,” he pouted.
“At this point - we're tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental music. You are disrespectful to inspiration.”
His wife Kim Kardashian had to interject at that point to say they had to catch a flight to New York, but agreed that Beyonce should have won the gong. That’s a massive turnaround, given that the two women have been warring since before Kim and Kanye got married last summer.
“I wish he had said something [on stage],” Kim added before whisking Kanye away.
She later posted a selfie on her Instagram showing herself, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen all looking shocked, captioning it: “This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!”
