Here at heatworld we love discovering the next big popstar-types, if only to turn around to our friends all 'TOLD YOU SO' when they blow up. So allow us to introduce you to one of 2017's most promising prospects; Kara Marni.
FUN FACT: We actually met Kara on the tube last summer and she gave us a spontaneous sing-song, but that's another story for another time.
19-year-old Kara's just chucked her cover of Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo's Nothing Even Matters on the internet, and it's so smooth even the male cast of TOWIE's chests can't compete.
Teaming up with the equally-amazing XamVolo, Kara hits notes we thought we only audible to dogs (that whistle note, CHRIST) and provides that 3 minutes and 56 seconds of pure chill you need after that hectic af week.
Chatting about her decision to cover the Lauren and D'Angelo track, Kara told Clash: "A song by one of my all time favourite artists who's album has been a massive influence. Beyond exited to be releasing my first ever duet."
In short it's SO GREAT and you can go listen to it on her SoundCloud or Spotify. You're welcome, honeybunch.
