She often shares her thoughts, feelings and anxieties on Instagram with her fans, and Kate Ferdinand recently spoke out about just how difficult she found the first few weeks of motherhood after giving birth to baby Cree in December.
Having had a C-section, Kate revealed last week in an interview how she had felt helpless.
“I think I cried every single day for about five weeks,” she said.
“You expect to be doing everything you possibly can for your baby, and when you can’t, it was something I really struggled with. I was in my own little world, I felt really confused and had lots of anxiety, and I didn’t think anyone understood.”

Kate, 29, who is also stepmum to husband Rio’s kids – Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine – also admitted she was keen to get her “pre-baby” body back.
“I do want to go back to how I was before,” the former TOWIE star admitted candidly. “I know some women say they love their post-baby bodies, but I don’t really love my body now if I’m being honest. It’s OK to say that – we shouldn’t have to pretend we do.”

Kate is a real gym bunny and used to share her workouts with fans online. But she knows it will be a while before she can exercise at the same level.
“I’m not beating myself up about it, as it’s a gradual process to get back to where I was before,” the ex-reality star said.
“I’m not going to be skinny in a week. As new mums, as long as you and your baby are healthy, then that’s all that matters.”
