Well, it was only ever going to be a matter of time before Katie Hopkins opened her mouth and dispelled a load of hot air surrounding the sad death of Peaches Geldof. True to form, she has.
As reports came out yesterday suggesting the 25-year-old mother of two had died as a partial result of heroin use, Katie took to Twitter to blast those expressing their sympathy towards the socialite and journalist.
She added: "A 'right on' badge is what people wear when they say stuff they think people want to hear - normally Guardian types."
As her followers piled in to criticise her insensitivity, Katie shot back with her usual vigour.
She continued: "Looking forward to joining the panel at Hay to discuss why - as a parent - drugs don't seem like such a great idea."
Yesterday, we reported how Peaches' inquest in Kentfound that heroin use was "likely" to have contributed to her death on April 7th.
The post-mortem result "concluded recent use of heroin. At levels identified, it's likely to have played a role in her death", the police said, although the inquest has not yet confirmed a drugs overdose was the cause of Peaches' death.
It has now been adjourned until July 23rd to give Peaches' father Bob Geldof and her husband Thomas Cohen a chance to attend.
