Never one to shy away from a nice big cloud of controversy, Katie Hopkins has caused a Twitter storm once again after slamming YouTube sensation Zoella for apparently not writing her best-selling novel by herself.
Katie hit out at the 24-year-old internet personality after it emerged her editorial team had written large parts of her new book, Girl Online, for her.
Last night, Zoella – real name Zoe Suggs – said she would be taking a break from the internet because the backlash was getting too much for her.
“Bare with me on vlogmas. I'm taking a few days out and off the internet because it's clouding up my brain. Thanks for understanding,” she tweeted.
Katie quickly fired back: “Zoella has quit the Internet in the same way that Quitter Collins gave up reality TV. Just for the drama. Only for about a day.”
Sheesh. Zoella’s fans immediately started attacking the Apprentice reject, which of course she loved.
Girl Online sold more than 80,000 copies in its first WEEK, which is… er. Well, it’s 80,000 more copies than Katie Hopkins’ non-existent book, innit?
