Katie Hopkins is reportedly in talks to host her own chat show in America.

Following the success of her two-part documentary My Big Fat Story, broadcaster TLC now wants to give K-Hop more of a permanent home on their channel.

Broadcast magazine reports that the talk show is still in early stages, but TLC are keen to snap up the hobby 40-year-old.

After the former Apprentice star came second in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, it seemed that she had finally won over some fans. But she quickly turned people off again with her recent comments on dementia.

Katie tweeted over the weekend: "Dementia sufferers should not be blocking beds. What is the point of life when you no longer know you are living it? Bang me over the head.

"The day I am diagnosed with dementia is the day I book my ticket to Dignitas.

"Ultimately, if your family member is in hospital with dementia because you are not caring for them - you have no right to be outraged."

Unsurprisingly, Katie’s followers were appalled by her comments.
