It's safe to say that Katie Price had a tough year in 2018, but things appear to be looking up for the reality star who has revealed her plans to adopt a baby from Nigeria.

The mum-of-five to Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and Bunny, four, revealed on This Morning that she's been looking into adopting for quite some time.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she confessed she's looking to adopt a baby from Nigeria, "I've always said I wanted to adopt a child and don't care if they've got a disability or what age they are. I feel like I can offer a place.

"It’s easy to adopt abroad but it’s difficult to bring them back to the country.

"It's so hard to adopt over here, like so hard. I've looked into it for ages. Hopefully something will happen."

The 40-year-old star went on to admit that she'd "definitely have more [children]" before joking, "There’s enough bedrooms in the house."

Katie also went on to say, "I was going to go Nigeria last weekend but she was looking after the kids."

The TV star looks after her eldest son Harvey alone and currently has shared custody of Junior and Princess with ex-husband Peter Andre and splits time with her estranged hubby Kieran Hayler over their two children Jett and Bunny.

Not only does the reality star plan to have another baby, but she's also revealed the rest of her plans for 2019, which include planning a film of her life, studying for a paramedic degree, turning her novels into movies, releasing an acoustic album and doing a one-woman show at the Royal Albert Hall.

This isn't the first time Katie has spoken about expanding her brood back in 2016 she hinted that she wants to adopt a baby abroad. Speaking to The Sunday Times, she said, "I love babies and I was thinking, how can I get one quick? I know it’s hard to adopt, so I thought, can’t I just buy one abroad? Do you know where you go?"

When she was married to Kieran Hayler, the pair admitted they were going to have another baby on their TV show My Crazy Life.
