The reason Katie Price fears Carl Woods will cheat

Take a brief stroll through Katie Price’s Instagram at the moment and you might pick up on the subtle hints that she’s head-over-heels in love with her current boyfriend, Carl Woods.

They may have only known each other for a few months, but 42-year-old Katie has referred to her car dealer beau as her, “forever love”, and, “gorgeous protector”. But an insider close to the former glamour model tells heat that she still feels incredibly insecure and is worried Carl might cheat on her.

“Katie knows logically that Carl is lovely,” our source tells us. “But she also has a lot of PTSD from the love-rats she’s been with in the past and she knows that boys will be boys. He's a good-looking man and is obviously used to having a lot of attractive women around him after his stint on Love Island.

In Katie's mind, Carl could have any girl off the street.”

Katie hasn’t had the best luck with previous boyfriends and husbands. She famously split from Kieran Hayler – father to Jett, seven, and Bunny, six – after he cheated on her with the nanny and one of her best friends. And she claims that her most recent boyfriend before Carl, Kris Boyson, had promised her marriage and babies before dumping her days later for Bianca Gascoigne. And it’s clear in Katie’s Instagram posts that she still feels hurt and insecure as she often questions why 31-year-old Carl would be with her.

She recently shared a picture of him with the caption, “I bet [Carl] is thinking, ‘oh no what have I got myself into’”. She also praised him for sticking by her after her traumatic foot injury, writing, “There [aren’t] many guys that would be able to handle the life changing injuries I have.”

Our insider continues, “Carl has reassured her that she’s everything he wants, and he would never hurt her – and this is the first time Katie believes it when a man says that. But because of everything that she’s been through she can’t help but worry.”

It’s clear Katie isn’t the only one who wants Carl to stick around. The mum of five shared a clip recently of her eldest son, 18-year-old Harvey, saying he wants Carl to be his “daddy”. Replying to her son, Katie said, “Do you? Do you love Carl that much?”, to which Harvey replied, “Yes mum.”

But could Katie’s own fears get in the way of her happily ever after? Our source reveals, “AT times she is racked with fears about Carl cheating and it’s driving her crazy. Although he is doing his best to reassure her that he's there to stay, Katie is her own worst enemy and she just doesn't seem to be listening.”
