She’s only just completed a court-ordered month-long stint in rehab, after crashing her car while driving under the influence of drink and drugs in September. And she’s still facing an uncertain future, with a possible prison sentence hanging in the balance. But last week, Katie Price put on a brave face and insisted that it was business as usual as she returned home from the Priory rehab facility and immediately got busy posting photos with her beloved mum Amy, sister Sophie, eldest son Harvey and boyfriend Carl Woods.

Taking to Instagram, the former glamour model told followers, “Happy November! It’s a new month and I’m so happy to be back working, and spending quality time with my mum and sister.” But while Katie seemed hellbent on putting her accident and subsequent rehab treatment behind her, insiders tell us her friends are worried she’s taking on too much too soon and turning a blind eye to her problems.
After all, she’s completed stays in rehab before… only to relapse later down the line. We’re told they’re urging her to tread cautiously and recognise that it’s still early days in her recovery, and that her only priority should be focusing on staying sober, healthy and out of trouble.
“Katie has been warned that there’s a monster inside of her that comes out when she drinks and does drugs, and she can never go back to that again,” says an insider close to the 42 year old, who last sought treatment at the Priory in February 2020 to deal with “severe trauma”. “She’s said that her time in rehab has really sorted her out and says she’s finally in control, but they’ve heard it all before and have begged her to take this seriously as this is her last chance. The judge suspended her sentence – which could involve a prison stay – until December to allow her to seek treatment at the Priory. We’re told she’s insisting she’s off the booze and drugs for good, but her friends don’t want to see her putting herself under any undue stress – as they

“Katie always has something to focus on,” we’re told. “Whether it’s surgery, her love life or partying. It’s this addictive personality that is very unhealthy and is something she’s trying to work on and undo. Her family and friends are telling her that it’s not a good look to immediately go out for dinner dates and get back to work, but she won’t listen. She wants to get back to her real life and still enjoy herself. But she’s been warned she’s a ticking time bomb; it only takes one lapse in judgement and she could end up with an even bigger calamity on her hands.”
