Katie Price has come under fire from her fans after sharing a snap of her daughters Princess and Bunny wearing hats trimmed with real fur.
Uploading the picture to her Instagram last night, Katie wrote: “My gorgeous girls in their @bklynconcepts hats.”
But some of her followers picked up on the fact that retail company BKLYN uses real rabbit and raccoon fur on its bobble hats, which cost £49 a go.
One said: “Nice picture, shame about the real fur... hate animal cruelty..”
Another wrote: “Fur belongs on animals only, they need it more than we do.”
While some jumped in to defend the ex-glamour model, more were worried that her influence would make more people buy fur products.
“Katie, you are an influential figure so please don't promote this company,” said one commenter.
“Wearing real fur is a very controversial subject and by posting this photo on a public forum you are inviting highly emotive opinions.”
But Katie has yet to respond to the controversy she accidently caused, instead just posting this quote image on Instagram this morning:
