Katie Price had to go into hospital over the weekend over fears the stress she's under thanks to cheating husband Kieran Hayler could be taking its toll on her unborn baby.
The 36-year-old glamour model and her third husband were spotted outside hospital in their first public appearance together since Katie found out about his seven-month affair with her former best friend Jane Pountney on Saturday, sparking fears there was something wrong with her baby.
A source told The Sun that Katie invited Kieran to come with her to be checked out because she feels like she's in a vulnerable position – but she still hasn't forgiven him for what she sees as the ultimate betrayal.
"She felt very mixed emotions being around Kieran. Of course, she loves him because you can't just switch those feelings off," the insider said.
"But she's also so angry with what he's put her through so this definitely isn't a sign they'll get back together."
The informer added: "It's not an understatement to say Katie and the people around her are terrified about the birth.
"Everyone is being cautious because it wouldn't be helpful for her to go into labour early."
Katie is particularly worried after baby Jett's horrific delivery last summer, when she gave birth to him eight weeks early.
She is said to have told friends: "With this amount of stress I could go into labour or even lose the baby."
Katie only found out that she was six months pregnant after returning from a family holiday with Kieran and her children at the end of April – just a week before her husband's infidelity news broke.
It's since emerged that Jane – who Kieran blamed for "not saying no" to his sexual advances – has also been left heartbroken because her husband Derrick has also been having an affair with a friend of theirs.
