Katie Price’s mum tells heat: ‘Getting to final will be a huge boost for Katie – it’s been a testing year’

Katie, who made a shock entrance to the house on 16 January, has cemented her place as one of the favourites to win Celebrity Big Brother.

And, as Amy told us earlier, getting this far will have given Kate’s confidence a much needed boost.

“The fact she's in the final will give her a huge confidence boost after a testing year,” Amy explained to* heat*. “It's been great for people to see my Kate the one we all know and love and I can't wait to see her when she gets out.”

The mum-of-five previously called last year the ‘worst of her life’ following her husband Kieran Hayler’s infidelity. Katie has worked hard at the relationship however and now is planning to renew her wedding vows later this year.

However, despite this, Katie’s struggled to stay strong at times – telling her housemates about how difficult her personal life has been – and according to Amy, she’s still conscious of the public’s reaction to her, adding: “I could see her listening on last night's show to hear if she was getting booed or cheered and she was so nervous.”

We don’t think she’s got any need to be nervous, the public love you and so do we, Kate. Still, we suppose that crowd can be a little scary.

Last night, Perez and Kavana left the house following a double eviction, leaving Katie, Calum, Michelle, Keith and Katie Hopkins battling it out to be crowned the winner.
