On Saturday night’s X Factor final, ‘eccentric’ former contestants scrambled to the stage for a, err, random rendition of (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life. Giving it the wrong kind of Dirty Dancing edge, sister duo Blonde Electra kissed. ON. THE. LIPS.

And among Wagner, Stevie Richie and Chico grasping onto their last 15-minutes of fame, was Katie Waissel in a Lady Gaga-style outfit that looked like sexy Batman gone wrong.

But that wasn’t why Katie got all the attention (yes, even more than that sisterly snog) – it was because of her not-so-subtle mouthing of “you owe me” at Simon Cowell. (What’s the chances the Waissel whispers louder than she talks?!)

Given that Katie’s time on X Factor 2010 was better known for her wacky outfits than on-point vocals, we’re wondering just what Simon has lined up for her.

And then Katie sent a cryptic tweet, saying: “Bye Bye London!! See y’all on the other side… #seeyounextyear #confirmed #chair”

Adding an even less subtle tweet last night, she wrote: “Here with the boss….. #summoned #xfactor #flightmoved #london.”

Katie as a judge?! But judging what? Outfits? A whole new ‘unique’ category?

Could she replace Cheryl if she’s off making babies with super-hot hubby Jean-Bernard? Minds. Boggled.

With any luck Katie will be tweeting some more of her obscure hints in next to no time…
