And now the *California Gurls *singer has gone from short pink hair to long auburn locks in ONE DAY. Which makes us think it's a wig, but still it looks very sophisticated and au naturel.

As Katy debuted her new auburn colour at the 2015 Harper's Bazaar Icons Event in New York yesterday, she almost strolled through unrecognisable.
During the Plaza Hotel event Katy was auburn and for the afterparty she turned into the short-haired Katy we're used to - and was PINK.
Auburn just in time for, Autumn, the 30-year-old teamed her new 'do with a slinky, sparkly dress and gold eye shadow, rocking the event's carpet like a redhead pro.
Ahead of New York Fashion Week, Katy hinted on her Instagram two days ago that she may be doing something reddish with her locks.
She captioned her (weird) Instagram image, suggesting a new colour: "Get the paints out #nyfw."
One fan shared a picture with Katy and her pink hair:
