Katy Perry has done it again! In November, she was named as Forbes’ highest earning woman in music and now, she’s bagged the number one spot in their list of the highest paid musicians in 2015.
This year Katy raked in an incredible $135 million (all thanks to her 17 month Prismatic world tour), moving her up from 23rd to number one. Closely behind her are One Direction, with earnings one $130 million - proving that losing Zayn Malik halfway through the year had little effect on their earning potential.
In third place it’s, er, Garth Brooks, who earned a staggering $90 million this year, followed by Taylor Swift who earned $14 million more than her boyfriend Calvin Harris who came sixth in the list.
A noticeable drop this year is Beyonce, who’s moved down from second place in 2014 to 14th in 2015. Time to get that new album out, love.
