Katy Perry has admitted she “doesn’t have a very close relationship” with Taylor Swift.
The 35-year-old singer publicly ended her six-year feud with the ‘Lover’ hitmaker last year after the pair fell out when Taylor, 30, accused Katy of ‘stealing’ her Red world tour back-up dancers for her own tour.
But despite declaring their friendship on Instagram with a tray of "Peace at Last" cookies, Katy has revealed they are too busy to maintain a friendship, but “text [each other] a lot”.
She said: “Well, we don’t have a very close relationship because we are very busy, but we text a lot.
“I was impressed by her documentary [Miss Americana] because I saw some self-awareness starting to happen and I saw a lot of vulnerability.

Katy – who is engaged to Orlando Bloom – appeared in Taylor’s music video You Need To Calm Down last year, and she admitted that it was important for people to see they had put their feud to bed.
Speaking to Australian magazine, Stellar, she added: “Even though it was difficult, it was important to make that appearance in the music video because people want people to look up to.

Taylor told Heart Breakfast last year that it was Katy that reached out to end their feud by sending an olive branch to her during the first day of her Reputation Stadium Tour.
She added: "We reconnected a while ago. It started when she sent an olive branch to, like an actual olive branch to my tour – on the first day of my Reputation Stadium tour and I was like, that is not only really cool and really sincere, the note but like, very clever with sending an actual olive branch.
"'It was like a beautiful wreath and you could hang it, it was really so great. And so that was when you know I think for both of us it was completely like there was no weird feelings."
