When reports emerged last week that Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori were on the brink of divorce, the news didn’t exactly come as a surprise to their critics. But just days later, the story took a strange turn, as Bianca was pictured – typically scantily clad – engaging in PDAs with the controversial rapper while out shopping in Tokyo.
Ever since Bianca, 29, married Kanye, 47, in 2022, the couple have set off alarm bells with their strange behaviour – with the Aussie architect frequently photographed in decency-law-flouting outfits. Many have suggested she’s morphed into his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who Kanye famously also liked to dress.
But now, insiders tell heat that reports claiming the couple were on the rocks might have come from Kanye and Bianca themselves in an attempt to get ahead of the rumour mill and sniff out any leaks within their team. Others have suggested it’s just another way for the pair to get in the headlines – and, indeed, they only fuelled the break-up stories by both deleting their social media accounts.
One person left unimpressed by the whole affair is Kim, who shares kids North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five, with Kanye. We’re told she’s not too happy about their ‘attention-seeking shenanigans’. Our source says, ‘Kim doesn’t know what to make of Kanye any more. Like everyone, she’s extremely confused by this latest saga and trying to find out exactly what’s going on.
‘In many ways she’d love to just roll her eyes and ignore it, but that simply isn’t an option – this is still the father of her kids, and Bianca’s been getting close to them in recent months, too. Plus, she does have that morbid curiosity – it amazes her that Kanye and Bianca have lasted this long already.’
Kim might have filed for divorce from the Stronger rapper in February 2021, but with Kanye continuing to co-parent their four children, she’s been keeping a close eye on his new relationship. The Kardashians star was married to Kanye for seven years, and despite all the reports saying he was determined to win her back, he secretly tied the knot with his Yeezy employee Bianca just one month after the divorce was finalised.
In the time since, Bianca has raised eyebrows for all the wrong reasons as she’s pushed boundaries with her looks. She’s repeatedly stepped out in the kind of minimal outfits Kanye once dressed Kim in, and the couple have shocked the world with their risqué behaviour. Last summer, the pair received a lifetime ban from an Italian boat rental company after things seemed to get hot and heavy on the waters of Venice, with Kanye’s bare bum being seen by tourists. And in July, Bianca risked an indecent exposure charge, with her breasts were fully visible in an entirely see-through mesh top.
And while reports have suggested last week’s break-up rumours was just another example of the couple looking for attention, our insiders say there have actually been ‘very serious and credible rumblings’ circulating that Kanye and Bianca’s two-year marriage is on the rocks. We’re told, ‘Kanye’s had his own frustrations about Bianca apparently not being as subservient as she once was, while she’s been complaining about his mood swings and this bizarre need to control her every move like she’s a remote control puppet.’
And we’re told that plenty of people in their circles – Kim included – are simply counting down the days until the rumours become reality. ‘A lot of people think it’s just a matter of time before Bianca does call it quits and walks away, and when that happens it’ll spell serious drama as Kanye will almost certainly go off the rails in some way or another,’ says our source. ‘For now, they’re together – though how long that lasts is anyone’s guess.’
