Tomato ketchup

There are many unanswered questions in this life. 'Why is Harry Styles not our husband yet?' being the main one. 'What came first; the chicken or the egg?' being another. Well now ASDA's taken it upon itself to help resolve one of the world's greatest mysteries - should tomato ketchup be kept in the fridge or what?

It's a topic that's divided nations, families and friendship groups; but now the supermarket chain's officially started stocking ketchup IN FRIDGES and everyone's losing their shit.

Basically it's all an attempt to determine whether their customers prefer their ketchup straight from the shelf or chilled af from the fridge; with ASDA's Clapham superstore in London trialling some of its own brand bottles in't fridges.

Controversial.

This all comes after MUCH SOCIAL MEDIA DISCUSSION over ketchup's rightful place. ASDA's own poll showed 53 per cent favour the fridge while 47 per cent are all about their room temperature red sauce.

Victoria Williams off of ASDA said: "Tomato ketchup is a staple of many of our customers' weekly shop but recent debate has prompted us to trial two areas to stock our great value own brand tomato ketchup sauces, so we can end the debate once and for all and give everyone what they want."

Fair enough.

That's that, then. A COUNTRY DIVIDED. Is this even news? We're not sure.
