Who’d have thought A-list Hollywood actress (and the face of Chanel) Keira Knightley was once a babysitter for Danny Dyer’s daughter!
It’s come to light that when Keira was just a teenager; with dreams of breaking into the film industry, she took care of Dani, daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer, for a couple of pounds per hour.
“She was really nice and fun, and let me stay up past my bedtime, but we didn’t tell my parents,” Dani, 18, told the Mirror. “Sometimes she let me have sweets too. I would love to see her again and see if she remembered me.”
Keira, now estimated to be worth a staggering £30million, could probably use Dani’s babysitting skills herself, with the birth of her first child recently.
But Dani will never forget her and aspires to get to the Atonement star’s level of success, adding: “Back then Keira was starting out just the same as I am now. It was only when I got older I realised how much of a big deal it was.”
It was not long after Keira’s stint as a babysitter that she won her break out role in Bend it like Beckham in 2002, followed by blockbuster movies including Pirates of the Caribbean and King Arthur which catapulted her to stardom.
