Speaking to Elle magazine, the actress who is married to the Klaxons bloop-and-bleep-maker, James Righton, said: "Oh, 100 percent, I'd absolutely tell her not to. I would 150 million trillion percent be totally discouraging of (her) doing anything like that."
Adding, "Teenage years should be done privately."
Keira began her high-profile career at the age of 14, with a small role in Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace.
"You should be going out and getting unbelievably drunk, getting into ridiculous situations, making mistakes.
"That's what that time of life is about and we should do that privately, one million trillion zillion percent.
Teenage years are just about getting lagged up and making mistakes? WOW. We wish Keira Knightley was our mum.
Keira also went onto explain that in her early twenties she received abuse, saying that she wasn’t liked by movie-goers and that she was anorexic...
"There was a very long time when [interviewers] were all, 'Well you’re a s**t actress and you’re anorexic and people hate you' which, for a teenager or somebody in their early 20s, is a very strange thing."
Finally, the svelte star revealed that she had a second secret wedding to her husband, James Righton.
The second ceremony was just for friends, after the first, which was attended only by a few select members of their family. Keira wore a second gown by Valentino for the ceremony, she added:
"I wore it for the ceremony we had just for our friends, in a wood, because you have to have flowers on a dress in a wood."
