Panicking about just where your next reality TV hit is going to come from now that X Factor and I’m A Celeb have picked their winners? Well it’s only a few weeks until Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens, and a new famous face is rumoured to be entering the house…
According to reports in the Sun, former Big Breakfast presenter Keith Chegwin has agreed to go into the CBB house for a £20,000 paycheck. Wonder if he’s ready to blow all his earnings on double glazing like Michael Burke?
An insider is quoted as saying: “CBB bosses hope Keith will bring a lot of fun to the show.
“He is a nice guy and could be the peacekeeper in the house.”
Cheggers is no stranger to reality TV shows, having appeared in Dancing On Ice in 2013 and presented Naked Jungle in nothing but a hat while contestants took on assault courses completely starkers. No wonder Cheggers has called it the “worst career move” of his life.
Keith isn’t the only rumoured celeb contestant for Celebrity Big Brother 2015. Katie Price could also enter the house – along with an ex to add just a bit of drama to next year’s series. Katie and rumoured favourite-ex-for-fireworks Alex Reid, are still to comment.
Also rumoured to be in the line-up are Twitter commentator extraordinaire Katie Hopkins (just imagine the Diary Room comments!), troubled ex-Eastenders’ actress Danniella Westbrook and bookies have their eye on reality TV addict Jake Quickenden.
This time boasting a twisted fairytale theme with promised “sinister” undertones, Celebrity Big Brother is back on Channel 5 on 7 January.
