Kelly Brook has been hit by a backlash, from charities and the public, after her appearance on This Morning yesterday to promote her autobiography, Close Up.

In the book, Kelly admits to punching Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani and when discussing it with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby yesterday, it seems their attitudes to the subject weren’t as serious as some would have hoped.

Talking about hitting Jason, Kelly explained, “In my defence, I don’t think he felt it. This is Jason we’re talking about; he’s a martial arts expert. These are big men I'm going out with - I mean look at me - I'm not going to do them any damage!”

“I’m not saying I’m an angel or that the things I’ve done are right, I’m not saying that’s the right thing to do at all. But I guess I get some of that fiery passion from my parents. I’m not going to make a habit of doing that in the future. I’m just going to pick more wisely with the men I be with.”
