It’s no secret that Kelly Brook and Katie Price haven’t always seen eye to eye. There have been numerous public spats, wars over their mutual ex Danny Cipriani and quite a few autobiographical references (thanks Jordan) to how much they hate each other.
So it’s no surprise Kelly’s been using the Sun’s serialisation of her latest book,* Close Up*, to get in another dig at her rival.
In her memoirs, Kelly talks about how, when she was first starting out as a model, her competition included Katie, Emma Noble and Melinda Messenger, so the two of them had to see each other around a fair bit.
“I’ve often thought that perhaps she was in the wrong world. She has a lovely figure but with no hips or curves, so while the rest of us were trying to tone it down, she was always trying to work it up,” Kelly said of Jordan’s early career as a glamour![] model.
“After a few years of not doing brilliantly, she had the first of a number of boob jobs that have taken her from a 32B to a 32FF.” Ouch.
Kelly also revealed she and Katie were once booked on the same shoot that turned out to be modelling vibrators, which she walked out of when she found out.
“‘I am sorry, there’s been a mistake,’ I said politely, turning to leave, only for Katie to shout after me: ‘Oi! You! Where do you think you’re going?’
“We were never mates. She obviously has a sweet![] side to her character but I felt as if, around me at least, she would be brash and common for the sake of it.”
Sheesh. And what of the infamous Danny Cip? Er, Kelly manages to insult both him AND Katie in her book with this little vignette.
“I was with Danny Cipriani at the time, who I’d been dating for a couple of years. She clocked him and clearly fancied him and came over and said something so lewd we were both left slack-jawed. Needless to say, Danny went out with her a few years later!”
Katie hasn’t yet responded to this latest beef but rest assured, we’re keeping a beady eye on her Twitter…
