Kelly Brook's given her most revealing interview yet, speaking to the Mail about her cheating ex Danny Cipriani, and how she's wasted so much time with 'spineless' men. She pretty much goes for it, and you get a real sense that she's HAD ENOUGH. Good on you, Kel.
'I’d always wanted to be private, and then after the Danny Cipriani thing last year I thought I’m sick of protecting people,' she says. 'He was sleeping with so many women behind my back and yet I was blamed for being a bad influence on him. He never stood up and said it was nothing to do with Kelly.’
Referring to herself in third person aside, it looks like Kelly's got herself together, and is ready to turn over a new leaf. Preferably one that doesn't involve going out with men who treat her badly. But in the meantime, she's not done with verbally laying into Danny: 'He needs constant attention from any woman at any time and if you’re not going to give it to him there’s a whole line of women who are ready to. From the attention of his own mother to his friend’s mother to glamour models. It’s endless,' she rants. 'I started to think all these men are absolutely spineless. I got wound up in the celebrity culture – I was either associated with them or the failure at The Big Breakfast. Anyone or anything in this book is fair game.’
Oof.

Kel then went on to discuss the Scottish referendum and what she believes will be- just kidding. She laid into Danny even more, which is (let's face it) way more interesting. Apparently he was neither funny not intelligent, which his only chat up line being: ‘You’re the one. I’ve never felt like this. I want to have your babies![].’ Nice, although there's a bit of a downside to his wooing: ‘Two weeks later he’s saying it to the next one. When I found out he was with his friend’s mum that was it. I thought, “I can’t help you any more. I’m going to Hollywood. See you later.”’
OOF.
Reminiscing on all her past boyfriends, from actor Jason Statham to Billy Zane aka mean-guy-in-Titanic-who-tries-to-kill-Leo, Kelly can see a pattern because she's got a sort of 'Mary Poppins' thing going on. 'Jason was at the end of his career as a diver when I met him. He wanted to be an actor,' she explains, noting that every man she's been with has been at the end of something, and needing her support. 'Thom had just broken his neck and was finishing with rugby. Danny was just starting his rugby career. And Billy was at the end of his movie career. I tried to help them and give them encouragement.’
It's not just Danny who's acted like a bit of a pranny (is that a word? It is now). When Kelly and Danny had broken up, her first love Jason Statham called her out of the blue. 'Jason called and said, “I still love you so much”, and I said “I still love you”', she remembers. 'Then I read the next day that he’d broken up with Rosie [Huntingdon-Whiteley, his girlfriend] so it was obvious why he called. I don’t want to be a crutch for someone and I thought it was a genuine phone call. Men are such pigs. He and Rosie got back together and I haven’t heard from him since.’
After Jason and Kelly originally broke up, she saw actor Billy Zane for four years of private jets and him reportedly throwing all her clothes out and dressing her either as a 60s sex kitten or a 50s housewife ('That's how he saw me'). They broke up because it was 'all fantasy', so why did she then move on to footballers? They're not exactly renowned to be faithful puppydogs.

'Because they’re disciplined. My life is chaotic so it’s nice to have routine,' she explains, then goes on to discuss her miscarriage which was, understandably, a terrible experience. 'Thom was supposed to be a bit of fun![] but I got pregnant quickly, absolutely from nowhere as we’d been careful. When I had the miscarriage I was distraught but I wasn’t going to spend the rest of my life with Thom. As soon as he started modelling he wanted a whole other world.’
It sounds like Kelly's had a hard time of it but now, with her new book coming out, she's engaged to David McIntosh - who doesn't appear in the biography. Why? 'Basically because I’m happy and he doesn’t deserve to be in the book. I stopped the book at a part where things are just starting to work out brilliantly. He’s just been on Celebrity Big Brother and he didn’t flirt with anyone or create an argument. The producers would want him to do that, but I gave him a good pep talk. He’s just lovely.’
Looks like things are on the up for Kel, and we're glad to hear it.
