Kelsey Parker has revealed her new boyfriend has moved into the house she shared with late husband Tom almost three years after his death – and they’re thinking about having children.
The 34 year old went public with tree surgeon Will Lindsay, 27, last September, saying The Wanted singer Tom – who died from a brain tumour in March 2022, aged 33 – spoke to her through a psychic and told her to find love again. The couple were together for 13 years, and married in 2018. In a recent interview, Kelsey said, ‘I have been seeing spiritual people who told me Tom was coming through. He said, “Get the wedding ring off as you’re blocking yourself. You need to move forward and meet someone.”’
Kelsey dated electrician Sean Boggans – who had previously been jailed for manslaughter – in November 2022, but the relationship was short-lived, with Kelsey describing herself as ‘so vulnerable back then’. She went on to meet Will on a night out last year, and says he has now moved into the house she and Tom bought shortly before he got ill.
While Kelsey has worked hard to make it her own, she’s said there are ‘certain things of [Tom’s] that will always be there’, including his toothbrush, a wardrobe full of his clothes, and a big picture of her husband on the wall.
And although Kelsey says marriage isn’t something she and Will are thinking about, they have talked about kids. ‘He hasn’t got children, so he would like kids,’ Kelsey said.
‘I do think that could be on the cards for us. Tom and I spoke about having more kids, because I wanted four. When he was first diagnosed, I wanted him to go and freeze his sperm, but he wouldn’t. I really wanted him to, because I really believed he was going to get better.’
Kelsey says Will gets on well with her and Tom’s daughter Aurelia, five, and son Bodhi, four, and they have bonded over the fact that Will lost his dad at the age of 21. She says Will and Aurelia have formed a ‘Dead Dads Club’ and use ‘dark, gallows humour’ to get them through.
‘He can really understand what the kids are going through,’ Kelsey said. ‘Bodhi is such a mummy’s boy, but he likes being around men, too.’
