Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies recently announced they had decided to part ways after finding love and bagging the top prize on Love Island this summer.
“With sadness, we’ve decided to separate," the former couple said in a statement to MailOnline.”
"We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.
"We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends."
And the timing couldn’t be worse, as now it’s been revealed Kem’s big plans for a Gavin and Stacey style Christmas have totally fallen apart following the split.
Amber’s family were going to drive down from North Wales to spend Christmas in Essex with The Cetinays.
A source explained to The Sun Online: “Kem had grand plans for his first Christmas with Amber, and her mum, dad and family were going to his to celebrate it.
"But it’s all gone up in smoke.”

Kem previously gave an insight into his family Christmas traditions, revealing he’s the undisputed champion when his family play the board game Blurt.
He added: “But this year there will be more of us so I might have to partner up with Amber’s mum because she’s really clever.”
Uh-oh, looks like Kem’s plans for board game domination have gone to pot.
Yesterday, Amber broke her silence and took to Twitter to address the whole split situ.
She wrote: "Would just like to say I am incredibly overwhelmed by everyone's lovely messages and comments. The love and support from you all has been absolutely heartwarming. Thank you so much."
Kem and Amber seem to have started a trend amongst the other Love Island couples, as Rykard and Rachel announced they’d called it a day and Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott reportedly broke things off again.
