The new series of Dancing On Ice kicked off last night. And in between wondering where we can get our hands on Holly Willoughby's dress and kind of hoping one of the contestants would fall over, we spent the show convinced something was going on with Scarlett Moffatt and Kem Cetinay.

You may have noticed that Scarlett was sat in the audience cheering Kem on - and his ex Amber Davies even hinted toward the romance on Twitter.

After someone tweeted: "Definitely something going on between Kem and Scarlett Moffatt #DancingOnIce", Amber replied: "You said it πŸ˜‹".

She then responded to a tweet that read: "Why is everyone giving her grief?! Put yourself in her shoes! πŸ€”" with: "I know right, im not saying it's wrong or bad, good luck him πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½ nice to see she's in the audience ☺️"

But Kem has now responded to the rumours on Twitter, and claimed that he and Scarlett are just friends. Oh.

He posted a picture of the two of them together, and wrote alongside it: "Thanks to my good mate @ScarlettMoffatt coming to support with Chris and my fam tonight, sorry guys just mates she don’t do essex boys πŸ˜‡".

So we guess that's that, then.
