Kendall Jenner has spoken out about her struggle with anxiety on her website.
The model published a blog post looking back at her year in 2016. The post is titled '2016 Was Such An Amazing Year For Me' and is split into Peaks and Pits.
In a section labelled 'Dealing With Anxiety', Kendall opens up about her struggle with the illness this year.
She begins: "Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this past year (and security concerns didn't help), but I think I'm finally learning how to cope."
Kendall then goes on to recount her time when her anxiety was particularly bad.
"I once had a really bad attack on a plane and just had to ride it out," she continues.
"I felt my heart beating a million miles an hour and I even went a little numb."
:(((((
However, Kendall goes on to say she has learnt techniques to cope with her anxiety and is able to prevent attacks.
"[I've] learned that it's all mental, so I try to prevent anxiety attacks by bringing my mind somewhere else."
As well as discussing her anxiety, Kendall also spoke about missing her family when she is away.
"The hardest part about my job is being away from home so often," she explained.
On a lighter note, however, Kendall named starring on the cover of Vogue in September as the highlight of her year: "The fact that I was on the cover of any Vogue was mind-blowing, but the September Issue was beyond anything I could've imagined."
Kenny also joked that turning 21 and FINALLY being able to enjoy a legal drink was another high point.
"Turning 21 has been a ton of fun. I love that I can now drink rosé on a beach in Miami or check out cool bars in new places."
Same gurrrl.
Although less beach in Miami and more the gloomy local pub on a rainy weekend evening (or weekday morning, who's judging?).
