It’s almost worth hanging about outside the Lindo Wing all day, ain’t it, just for the cake? And if they’re really expensive cakes, you could even make a bob or two. We’re not suggesting the super-fans sell their cakes on, of course. NEVER.
Super-fan Terry turned 80 today – and he got an excellent cake and a lovely, handwritten card from Kensington Palace. Isn’t he cute? And 80. SERIOUSLY, HE’S 80 YEARS OLD.
We imagine that Terry might have preferred the royal baby to be born over a card, but it can’t be rushed. As we darn well know…
We’re going to take a moment to accuse the royals of plying the super-fans with sugary gifts, now – they also sent a bunch of pastries down to the commoners yesterday for breakfast. We’re just jealous, if you can’t already tell. We want some goodies.
As Marie Antoinette once said (or perhaps it was an urban legend, but same difference): “Let them eat cake”. Haw haw.
