Kerry Katona denies her marriage to George Kay is crumbling to dust LIVE on Twitter

They only got married just over two months ago, yet Kerry Katona and George Kay are already fending off speculation their relationship is falling apart.

Kerry was forced to take to Twitter last night to slam rumours that her and George’s marriage is on the rocks, after the Daily Star reported he’d become “withdrawn, clingy and jealous” and wouldn’t leave her side.

The paper also claimed Kerry had cancelled a Christmas holiday to Cape Verdi with her five children and mum, Sue, because of George’s strange behaviour, and that they’d had a row after which he’d gone missing for hours.

“She was ringing friends in floods of tears because she didn’t know where he had gone,” a source told the newspaper.

“If George freaks out again she feels the only thing she can do is kick him out. She loves him to pieces and that’s not what she wants to do. It’s tearing her apart.”

But both Kerry and George insisted on Twitter that the report was “full of s**t” and insisted the headline was “a complete lie”.

Just in case that wasn’t clear enough, George also reassured his followers that he still loves his “beautiful wife”.

Kerry also tweeted: “Every girl dreams of finding her knight in shining armor, but not me...I've already got mine. ;) @mrgsjkay xxxxxxx.”

The news comes after George was detained under the Mental Health Act earlier this summer after having a breakdown in the street outside their family home. He later blamed the episode on mixing steroids with sleeping pills and alcohol.
