Kerry Katona and her hubby George Kay have cemented their marriage by getting identical tattoos on different parts of their bodies.

That’s right, because nothing says eternal love like ink, broken skin and the excruciating stab of a needle.

The couple visited celebrity tattoo artist Jay Hutton on Monday to get their matching rose designs permanently imprinted on their skin.

Kerry opted to get two of the flowers drawn on her right shoulder blade, while George made the more extreme choice of having the intricate pattern etched on his neck.

No matter how romantic the tattoo trip, we salute Kerry for her pragmatism. At least now if – god forbid – she and George don’t work out, she’ll just be left with a nice flower on her body.

After all, no one’s capable of tearing themselves away from the Ben and Jerry’s long enough during a break up to get a loopy name lasered off their body. Soothing? We think not.

Kez and George, we wish you a long and inky life together.
