Khloé Kardashian has provoked outrage among fans after she posted a controversial meme on her Instagram account.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a picture of her and sisters Kim and Kourtney beaming in white dresses and surrounded by the words: “The only KKK to ever let black men in”.

Khloé seemed to think she was sending herself up with the post – captioning the image “True” – but fans were horrified she could make jokes about murderous white supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan.

Yet her sister Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick appeared to find Khloe’s Photoshop work amusing, re-posting the meme to his account and adding the caption: “And a Jew”.

Still, Khloé was forced to backtrack and take down the post a few hours later after she’d received more than 26,000 comments on it.

Several users suggested that the post embodied the ongoing presence of racism in America, with one commenting: “And people wonder why us as black people say that racism is still alive and well today...this is sad.”

Another wrote: “This isn't funny at all. Why make jokes about a group that terrorised and still terroises my people. You're a clown for this. Very disrespectful and disgusting for this. A joke.”

Hopefully it’s now safe to assume that Khloé will be toning down her obsession with all things K in the future.
