Kim Kardashian isn't doing well in the wake of the shocking armed robbery that left her tied up and gagged in the bathtub of her Parisian apartment, her sister Khloe Kardashian has warned.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Khloe became the first member of the klan to break her silence on Kim's "traumatic" crime.

"I mean, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her," she told Ellen. "But our family is super-close and great and we'll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her."

Khloe, 32, said the family were using what happened to Kim as a warning for them to pull back from social media in a bid to protect themselves from future attacks.

"I think it's just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments," she went on.

"This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that's really personal, as to that emotional terror [and when] you could move on from that. It's a wake up call for all of us, but definitely [the focus is] just to make sure our sister is OK."

Khloe added that her other famous siblings – Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie and Rob – were "pulling back" from putting their entire lives on social media; something Kim was blamed for doing in the wake of the robbery.

But while the rest of the famous family have returned to Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, Kim still hasn't – and she's not resumed filming with Keeping Up With The Kardashians yet, either.

A source told People magazine that the production team were completely understanding of Kim's need to go into hiding following the break-in.

"She is not ready to film. Filming has been halted and won't resume until Kim is ready," the insider said.

"There is no stress for Kim to resume filming. Everyone is understanding."

As we report in this week's heat magazine, Kim has been left really shaken after the events in Paris and has been suffering from panic attacks and bouts of crying ever since.

Her husband Kanye West has been stepping up their security, spending $6 million on their protection in the week after the attack.
