With Kim Kardashian walking the Met Gala's pink carpet on Monday with her husband Kanye West, momager Kris Jenner and half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner - you might have been left wondering where Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were.
Well, according to reports, it turns out Khloe wasn’t invited - and it isn’t for the nicest reason either.
According to news from Radar Online, Khloe is considered ‘too low-brow’ by organiser and Vogue editor Anna Wintour and has been ‘blacklisted’ because she’s too ‘C list’. (It is thought Kourtney was invited, but stayed away in solidarity with her sister.) As Metro reports, the pair have never appeared in the magazine, which plays a large role in who does and doesn’t get invited.
'Kim lives for the event and she would never want her Kardashian sisters there because that would take the attention away from her,' one insider told Radar Online. 'Everyone in the family knows that it is Kim's night. She literally talks about it all year long.'
For this year’s theme, Fashion: Notes On Camp Kim persuaded Thierry Mugler out of retirement to make a skin-tight dripping dress. And Kendall and Kylie both adhered to the big, bold and brash theme by looking like walking feather boas in fabulous orange and purple ensembles.
